The Mountain Bike Tours (MTB) are known as a great sporting challenge. The rough, diverse

and beautiful landscape of the South of Limburg and the Belgian border region makes for some impressive routes. In consultation with nature and landscape management organisations, the routes cross areas that are usually not allowed for MTB. This year, the 35km MTB ride will be the shortest one. The rides of 35, 50 and 70 km start at different locations to prevent hindrance. You will ride completely different routes on Saturday and Sunday. See the MTB page for detailed route information. Cycling tours

The Mergelheuvelland 2-day (Mh2d) cycling tours have a clear goal: we want participants to enjoy cycling in our stunning countryside as much as we do. Every year we put together a number of spectacular routes that include our best cycling experiences. Our aim is that you as a participant make the most of the landscape and joi de vivre of the South of Limburg.
To minimise

the impact on the local environment and spread our participants as much as possible, we cycle on Saturday and Sunday in a different part of Limburg and the border region of Belgium and Germany. We also follow the rules and meet the legitimate requirements of the municipalities that have granted us permission to hold this event. This means that we had to make some concessions when planning the routes, but rest assured, there is more than enough to offer. And as usual, also this year we have some surprises in store for our participants.
You are not obliged to cycle the whole route that you choose at the start. During the ride you can change routes at split points. However, we strongly advise you to begin at the start location and not halfway the ride – some part of the routes may not be fully signposted or the checkpoints may not be ready.
